Compare Oracle SQL Plan in Excel

Download xlsm file, input source and target details, double click on list box to populate plan hash values and select one item and click on Run button to compare plan. The output screen will highlight first line (only first) where it finds difference in operation.

  1. Hi Vishal,

    Trying to use the tool but i get below error…i am able to fill in all the details except the Plan Hash value…i cant fill that or click in the box…

    Run-time error ’94’:

    Invalid use of Null

    • Hi Max,

      Make sure you have tns entries in tnsnames.ora file on your client machine.

      After entering sqlid, double click inside Plan Hash 1 list box, select one plan hash value then double click on plan hash value 2, select second plan hash value and click on run.
